Śląska Panna Olimpia, lat 20. Silesian Maiden Olympia, age 20. O Lord show your mercy to those who suffer the horrors of Satan's fury. Boże, okaż miłosierdzie tym, którzy cierpią okropności furii szatana. Fine Art Photography by Zbigniew Halat

Soviet military officers cemetery in Wroclaw, Poland, the central gloriette to colonel Ivan Polubin, the triple hero of the Soviet Union. Soviet officers were responsible for crimes of the Stalin's system of terror as much as German officers were responsible for the crimes of the Hitler's system of terror. The rapes of Soviet women by Wehrmacht soldiers, with numbers ranging between hundreds of thousands and ten million according to different estimates were avenged multifold. Estimates of the numbers of German girls and women raped by Soviet soldiers have ranged up to 2 million. In many cases girls and women were the victims of repeated rapes, some as many as 60 to 70 times. At least 1.4 million girls and women were raped in East Prussia, Pomerania and Silesia alone. Russian soldiers raped German females from eight to eighty years old. Russian women deported to Germany for forced labour and liberated from concentration camps were not spared either. According to some estimates, during the siege of Festung Breslau the Soviets had 60,000 casualties and losses among soldiers vis-à-vis the Germans who had  approximately 30,000 casualties and losses among soldiers and civilians. A vast majority of  victims were raised  Christians or at least born to Christian parents but their faith in Christ was torn  from their hearts.
